WYSIWYG Editors Advantages and Disadvantages
This page is built using Cool Page,(A WYSIWYG Web Page Editor) this is my very first time using  the editor  (I only wanted to demonstrate) how easy or difficult it was to use, and I must say I am  finding it reasonably easy at the moment.
There are several WYSIWYG Editors out there (What You See Is What You Get)
They differ from conventional Editors in the fact that you do not see the page code at all, they are similar to using something like Microsoft Word to make your webpages.
They all have their own advantages and disadvantages, some are expensive
and very large  programs ,some like this one are smaller.
It only takes approximately 10 minutes to download the Free
Cool Page program .(Cool Page has  varying levels depending on how much  money you want to invest in the program).
I am using the Free Version then there is The Standard Version ,The Pro Version and finally The  Webmaster Version.

The advantages of using a  WUSIWYG editors are =

1.No need to learn any HTML (Web Page Coding Language) .

2.If You can use Windows, then the editors uses Windows type tools etc. so you can start using it  straight away.

3.No worries about shuffling page properties and image properties to mix with each other or  word-wrap around box's etc. (everything has its own box to fit into).

The disadvantages of using a WYSIWYG editors are =

1.The full control of how the page is shaped and built are taken away to some extent.

2.Some objects and jobs are more difficult to perform than with a conventional type editor.

3,Limited to the functions supplied with the  program.

4.The good ones can be very pricey and large.

5.Not so good with quality or use of graphics etc. and a little awkward to get them just right .

Fear not the answer is at hand.

There is third type of editor which uses the best of both worlds .
You can code parts of the page from the WYSIWYG view and can at any time switch to the  code view and make adjustments
from there too.
The best of these is a program called Dreamweaver which is made by Macromedia .Quite  expensive but very  good. The other also expensive is a program is called Frontpage and that  is made by Microsoft.
